Every woman should have the right to have gorgeous nails! This is my FIRST attempt in doing nail art on myself, not that crazy about it, I think I could have done better and I would have also preferred to have had longer nails it’s just taking so long to grow ever since I had some acrylic work done a few months ago.

Hmmm....

Hrrmmm some more
Anyways here are some better ones I found. Check out my latest find, some fabulous nail art from WAH, shame I live so far from London
My husband says that I complain too much, apparently I need to chill out more. ‘Take a chill pill’… as my daughter would say. But you know how it is, mother of 3 on the edge of insanity – ‘chilling’ rarely becomes an option.
But I guess they’re right. There are a lot of things that piss me off and sometimes I forget to stand back and look at the things that I REALLY enjoy in life.
So this is a ’chilled’ post and a list of some of my favourite things….
Thanks Prookie!
- newly painted finger and toe nails
- talking to old friends and reminiscing about the good ‘ol days
- sponge pudding with lashings of creamy custard
- freshly washed bedsheets
- cuddling on the sofa while watching TV
- spending time with friends and close family, laughing until our sides hurt
- Chinese takeaways
- when my kids tell me I’m the best mum in the world
- nice smelling candles, specially Yankee Candles Ocean Blossom and Early Sunrise. Mmmmm
- thunderstorms
- watching old episodes of Columbo
- markets
- Sunday roast dinners
- my husbands cooking
- looking at old photographs
- hot showers
- hot summer nights, wine, chilling with my husband and listening to him play the guitar

So what are your favourite things?

Here is my little man about a year and a half ago, and I’m happy to say that these days his table manners are slightly better.

Just thought I’d post this too. Not quite as messy but just cute.
Toddler – Tiny bipolar humans under the age of 3, who can swing rapidly between endearingly cute antics and screaming, kicking, biting fits of rage.
Completely unpredictable and often unintelligible lovable little walking blessings/nightmares disguised as tiny human beings with giant heads. Prone to selective hearing and repeating overheard curse words at inopportune moments.
More dangerous when traveling in packs. Evolutionarily speaking, it is ridiculous that humans have the ability to reproduce fast enough to be the parent of more than one toddler at a time.
Inspired by shitmykidsruined, I’ve decided to showcase Sam’s own gallery of destruction. If you’re a parent I’m certain that you feel my pain and if you’re thinking of having kids…be warned, this is enough to put you off for life.
… or you can just accessorize.
