Summers here and all the green things
Ah it’s been a while… no entries for the last 2 months, shame on me!
Anyways, its all been good, summer has finally come (I think). So much to do, from doing our first veggie crop in the garden to decorating the house.
I think I have reached that point in my life where growing my own hanging baskets and cultivating cherry tomatoes becomes the new highlight of the summer.
Spending my weekends at the local garden centre has become an expensive but also a rewarding habit, and actually feeling a littleĀ inspired while watching this years Chelsea Flower show, wishing I could have gone and maybe next year I can drag the whole family to revel at the displays. Who knows, I think this gardening thing is starting to‘grow’ on me.
Usually, I tend to ‘kill’ plants, and can’t help but feel a little envious of people who seem to grow an effortless but amazing range of garden eye candy. So this year David and I have made a small effort, and surprisingly here are the results:
I guess there is hope for me yet.
