Feeding my fix of handbag fetish, this Faux Snake Purple Onion Bag from Next is the latest addition to the other 25 that I have in my ever growing bag collection, which is ridiculously taking over the top shelf of my wardrobe. But hey, a girls got to have some kind of hobby.
I have to agree with Miss Piggy when she said: ‘I find that it is vital to have at least one handbag for each of the ten types of social occasion:
‘Very Formal, Not So Formal, Just a Teensy Bit Formal, Informal But Not That Informal, Every Day, Every Other Day, Day Travel, Night Travel, Theater, and Fling.’
I can grow old happily being known as a bag lady… I’m sure some of you can relate.
Ah it’s been a while… no entries for the last 2 months, shame on me!
Anyways, its all been good, summer has finally come (I think). So much to do, from doing our first veggie crop in the garden to decorating the house.
I think I have reached that point in my life where growing my own hanging baskets and cultivating cherry tomatoes becomes the new highlight of the summer.
Spending my weekends at the local garden centre has become an expensive but also a rewarding habit, and actually feeling a little inspired while watching this years Chelsea Flower show, wishing I could have gone and maybe next year I can drag the whole family to revel at the displays. Who knows, I think this gardening thing is starting to‘grow’ on me.
Usually, I tend to ‘kill’ plants, and can’t help but feel a little envious of people who seem to grow an effortless but amazing range of garden eye candy. So this year David and I have made a small effort, and surprisingly here are the results:
I guess there is hope for me yet.

Celebrating Sam turning 10 months, I decided to try my hand at digital scrap booking to see what I can come up with. I was pretty amazed to find such great resources out there, especially from Shabby Princess where I found the above collection for free! I still have to learn how to put things together, and what goes with what. I must say that for my first attempt, I think this looks pretty cool.
I might have found myself a new hobby!
